What Could Happen?

After watching and hearing so much concerning the direction of the world economy, I began to wonder what would happen if there were no bailouts for the huge companies that have squandered and misjudged their business plans. Even we have thoughtlessly squandered money. The average gourmet coffee bought from Starbucks in New York can cost as much as $4.90. thats about $1,500 per year. Come on people.. I mean really!!! do you really have to have that crap thats basically over roasted coffee beans?
Now on to the CEO's of these corporations. Do they really need to be paid as much as they get to do what they do, whatever that is. I wonder what would happen if the CEO's and the upper management took a huge pay cut to insure the workers a fair chance at retaining their hard earned money. Oh my! you think upper management might have to use some of their savings to live off of for a little while?
Now here's a really good idea. How about we let the automobile and insurance companies go under? Maybe it might stimulate smaller business success. The little guys would become more successful, and new companies would arise from the ashes. Personally, I'd love to see it happen.
